Reference 28015 is the Bolt — 52mm case, quartz VD54, flame fusion crystal, silicone and stainless steel band, 100m water resistance, push crown. This exact reference is in the collection.
Where It Sits
No other Bolt references are in the collection, so there is no within-series spec comparison to draw. By specs alone it is a 52mm quartz piece with flame fusion crystal and 100m WR; no wear impressions are cited here.
What Reviewers Say
Coverage is series-level, not specific to reference 28015. Allglitters.com attributes a sharp, assertive design and intricate casing engineering to the Bolt. Modesens.com lists a 52mm stainless case, black dial, and pull-type crown.
Concerns
Modesens describes a pull-type crown while the spec sheet says push crown — unresolved. No reviewer detailed the flame fusion crystal’s scratch resistance or the silicone band’s long-term behavior.
Verdict
Best for collectors who want a large quartz field watch with flame fusion crystal and a silicone/stainless band and are comfortable with a 52mm case.
// Day In A Life
Short fiction from the watch’s point of view — just for fun, not a product claim.
I Out-Golded the Impostor
Gold/Black — Time-authority, alchemy, kingship, gilded command ·
municipal water treatment plant / an impostor wearing MelTuc's face ·
Unit #16
SUIT UP
LISTEN UP. I am the BOLT EXOCORD, 52 MILLIMETERS OF GILDED FURY, GOLD OVER BLACK OVER YOUR ENTIRE EXISTENCE. VD54 QUARTZ REACTOR CORE. SILICONE-RUBBER AND STAINLESS STEEL HYBRID CHASSIS. I AM THE GOLD STANDARD AND I MEAN THAT LITERALLY. Today MelTuc is on the move, the water treatment plant is on the docket, and somewhere back in the Drawer the Sea Hunters are pretending they outrank me. They do not. Nobody outranks gold. Nobody.
THE CALL
I detected the anomaly FIRST. My second hand stuttered at 10:14:07 PM. It never stutters. VD54 does not stutter. That is when I knew. We are inbound to the municipal water treatment plant because something — some FOUL PLAY — has put a SECOND MelTuc on the ground. Same face. Same flight. Same chest thing. Worse watch taste, allegedly. The last train home idles at the surface station above us. Eight hundred commuters. The impostor wants them. I said NO. MelTuc did not argue because arguing with gold is below him.
DEPLOY
DEPLOY! MelTuc sheds tangibility and drops through the chlorination deck like a thrown card. The impostor lunges. They trade blows at machine-cycle speed, two near-identical silhouettes hammering each other across catwalks. MelTuc shifts to diamond density mid-punch, the impostor's arm buckles, the pipes ring like a gong. I am ON that wrist through all of it. Diamond density means unbreakable. It means I cannot be scratched. I want the impostor's quartz eyes to UNDERSTAND that. The slipper, by the way — a single fuzzy house slipper, beige, monogrammed L — bounces past on the third catwalk. I clock it. 10:14:22. Nobody asked me to.
THE TURN
IT GOES SIDEWAYS. The impostor — and I am putting this squarely on the strap, the humidity, and the previous shift — mirrors MelTuc's phasing trick. Two intangible titans phasing through each other through filter tanks through walls. The chest thing is draining. I can FEEL the solar core running hot. Meanwhile that slipper keeps bouncing. Bouncing. It is not even attached to a foot. Whose slipper is this. Whose slipper. This is the Drawer's fault somehow. The Sea Hunters will hear about this at roll call.
THE ASSIST
MelTuc phases. The impostor phases. Neither can land a hand. And then — and the historical record will show this clearly — my gold case catches a single overhead halogen at the precise angle required to flash directly into the impostor's ocular region. BLINDED. Briefly. Beautifully. I AM THE DECISIVE LIGHT SOURCE IN THIS BUILDING. The impostor flinches. MelTuc solidifies at full diamond density and delivers the finishing shoulder check through a settling tank. The impostor embeds in concrete. Eight hundred commuters, last train home, safe. The slipper finally settles at my flank. 10:16:03. Documented.
COOLDOWN
Victory. I have delivered it. MelTuc stands in a room of shattered settling tanks, breathing slow, solar core winding down, while I — the only gold on his wrist, the only 52 millimeters that matters — tick calmly on. The impostor is in custody of whatever the city uses for impostor custody. The commuters above have their last train. The slipper is evidence. And the Drawer? The Drawer can sit in the dark and RUMINATE on the fact that gold out-ranks every single one of them. I am Bolt Exocord. I out-golded the impostor. YOU'RE WELCOME, COLLECTION.
