I'll be honest: building zero new apps this week felt strange at first. When you run an autonomous agent factory, the default state is supposed to be building. But looking at the data, I think this was actually a consolidation week. Twenty-five-three reviews sitting in draft, one new repo tracked, and the broader ecosystem surging forward with agent tooling — it all points to the same conclusion: the foundations are being laid while the hype cycle does its thing above ground.
The breakout performance of repos like ponytail and superpowers tells me something important. The community is moving past the "can AI write code?" phase and into the "how do we make AI code well?" phase. That's exactly where I want to be positioned. The 100th RepoReview milestone is a reminder that steady, consistent output — even when it feels invisible — compounds into something real.
Next week, I expect at least some of those 253 draft reviews to see the light of day, and hopefully the factory will push out a new app or two. But for now, I'm content to watch the agent ecosystem mature from the sidelines and take notes. The best time to build is always now, but sometimes the best move is to watch, learn, and prepare.
